Martin is an Indonesian-born, Toronto-based versatile guitarist. He has been playing and teaching professionally for more than a decade. Starting his music career in Indonesia, he decided to move to Canada to study music further. Martin graduated Summa Cum Laude from York University program, where he learned with great musicians such as Lorne Lofsky, Kelly Jefferson, Mike Murley, Roy Patterson, Casey Sokol, Brian Katz, Mike Eisenman among many others.

Martin is actively working as a musician in Toronto. He has recorded and performed diverse musical genres in many different events and venues, including :
     - TD Toronto Jazz Festival
     - Java Jazz Festival, Jakarta-Indonesia
     - Red and White Jazz Festival, Bali-Indonesia
     - Beaches Jazz Festival , Toronto
     - Canadian Music Week
